Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Paro
Transfer to your hotel. Evening welcome ceremony with butter tea and traditional offerings. Orientation on festival etiquette.
Paro Tshechu Festival
Full-day attendance at the Paro Tshechu, witnessing sacred mask dances and cham performances. Evening meditation at Kyichu Lhakhang.
Paro to Thimphu
Morning hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery for sunrise meditation. Afternoon drive to Thimphu. Visit the Great Buddha Dordenma.
Thimphu Monastery Circuit
Guided visits to Tashichho Dzong, Dechen Phodrang, and the National Memorial Chorten. Afternoon meditation session with a resident monk.
Thimphu to Punakha
Drive over Dochula Pass with 108 stupas. Visit Punakha Dzong. Evening prayer ceremony at the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.
Punakha Spiritual Day
Morning pilgrimage to Chimi Lhakhang. Afternoon meditation retreat at a secluded nunnery. Evening discussion on Buddhist philosophy.
Punakha to Paro via Thimphu
Return drive with stops at the Tachog Lhakhang and traditional paper-making workshop. Evening free for personal reflection.
Closing Ceremony
Morning meditation and blessing ceremony at a local monastery. Farewell dinner with traditional folk music and dance.
Depart from Paro
Transfer to the airport. Depart with a blessed khadar (ceremonial scarf) and a heart full of peace.
